Director Jayaraj will have the second release of the year in ‘Gulmohar’, which is planned for next week. The movie which will grace the theatres on the 28th of this month will have director Ranjith playing the central character.

The movie scripted by Didi Damodaran, the daughter of well-known scenarist T. Damodaran, will tell a story on the life of an extremist college lecturer Indhuchoodhan, who also was the leader of a group of revolutionaries.

Set in the early eighties, the movie will also have a good cast including Siddique, Neenu Mathew, Meghanathan, Nishanth Sagar, Manoj K. Jayan, and I.M. Vijayan.

'Gulmohur’ will mark the return of music director Johnson, whose songs for the film are already chart toppers.The movie which had its previews in all important metros of the state, has also earned good prerelease reports.
